The pressure of a title race can do weird and wonderful things to players. But for Celtic’s it seems to make them thrive.
Against Hearts on Saturday we saw the best of Callum McGregor, Matt O’Riley and Kyogo Furuhashi.
All three were absolutely superb in the 3-0 win over the Tynecastle club. As was Joe Hart and James Forrest.
This title race seems to have given this Celtic squad a new lease of life.
Rangers buckle as they try to catch Celtic
However, the same cannot be said for the Ibrox club.
Already we have seen Philippe Clement buckle after dropping points against Ross County and Dundee at Dens Park.
We’ve also seen the Rangers fans break after Brendan Rodgers announced Daizen Maeda is back to full fitness.
And now, the Rangers players are fighting with their fans outside Ibrox even after a win in the SPFL.

It really is quite incredible the implosion over at Ibrox since they won 3-3 against Celtic last month.
With just three games left and the final Glasgow Derby of the league season coming up at Celtic Park, Rodgers has a big advantage and could effectively seal the title with a win over Rangers.
And if you think the meltdown that’s currently going on right now is good, it will be nothing compared to what we will witness when the penny drops that despite the media hype, Clement is just Michael Beale in disguise.
