What ‘car crash’ Philippe Clement’s said has broken Follow Follow after giving Celtic a title boost

Ah, it’s day five of the Rangers meltdown and just as it was starting to calm down, the Celtic fans got a boost after the Dens Park bottling last night.

And before the Rangers fans get carried away with themselves, it’s not that kind of bottling I am talking about.

Philippe Clement took his side to Dundee last night knowing that anything less than a win would have the Bears prowling the woods.

After getting skelped in Dingwall, Clement went to Dundee in hope, rather than expectation. And after 92 turgid minutes, the Ibrox club blew the title race and left the east coast of Scotland with just one point.

Now, Clement got slaughtered for his weird pre-match Dundee comments so the Belgian had to be on point when he was addressing the Rangers fans last night. He wasn’t.

Clement called out by toxic Rangers fan forum

Clement spoke about the game last night as if he was somehow unlucky not to take all three points. The comments were rightly lambasted by both the Celtic and Rangers fans but it was on Follow Follow where the real abuse started.

In a thread called ‘The Clement Interview‘ the OP said, “Come on Phil, stop talking nonsense. You think that was a reaction, you think we created enough and were lucky.

“We were lucky not to lose. Stop protecting them.”
