Celtic fan leaves James O’Brien impressed after explaining how the ‘Old F*rm’ died

James O'Brien talking Celtic and Rangers

‘Out of the grave of Rangers a Phoenix club rose’ is the best explanation of how Sevco was born by a Celtic fan ever.

Of course, as Celtic fans, we all know that is the reason why the term Old F*rm is never used anymore by the Hoops support.

Rangers dying in 2012 made the term defunct as the Ibrox club hangs onto the term for dear life to prove that they are still the same club when they know that we know the truth.

But when it is explained in a calm and rational way like it was this afternoon on the James O’Brien show on LBC, you can just hear the apocalyptic response from Glasgow’s south side.

Why the term Old F*rm is dead

And one of those questions was as below. Have a listen to this:

What a truly outstanding answer that one Rangers fan can or will be able to articulate a calm and rational response to.

Because it’s the truth. You can’t argue against facts. Yes, you can lie about liquidation and pretend it didn’t happen but when it comes to the long and short of it, Rangers’ death happened. End of.

It was a perfect 1m 25 second bit of content to cap off a week that has seen Rangers bottle it in Dingwall, capitulate in Dundee and surrender their advantage to Celtic at the top of the table.

Happy Thursday folks!
