This is quite an incredible reaction to Celtic staying top of the league for the top six split.

For so long we have had to listen to a narrative from the Scottish media that somehow Celtic were out of the title race after Brendan Rodgers‘ team hit a dip in form in December and then again in February.

The media seem to pick and choose which side they are on depending on who is on the ascendancy in Scotland and it has been called out on numerous occasions by the Celtic fans.

And today, the narrative is back at Celtic after Rangers’ defeat in Dingwall this afternoon.

Rangers fans abuse players at full time in Dingwall

And we all know how this goes. Fighting in victory, this fanbase are toxic in defeat and the full time toxicity moved from the stands to the dugout as Philippe Clement‘s mask slips on the fulltime whistle.

Have a watch of this:

It really is a superb result and blows the title race right in Celtic’s favour. No matter what the result is in Dens Park on Wednesday night, Brendan Rodgers knows he will be top of the league.

For Rangers and their fans, the signs where all there after the Glasgow Derby result that Clement seemed to be losing the plot.

His comments on the Ibrox club somehow scoring a ‘moral victory’ enraged some of Rangers support as Clement looked to deflect from another huge derby game that his club failed to get a result in.

The bubble is burst at Ibrox. Celtic are getting some of their best players back just in time for the final few games of the season and it’s really hotting up at Ibrox as the pressure takes it’s toll on the Rangers manager and their fans.
