The SFA have just exposed the Scottish media’s anti-Celtic agenda and clear Rangers bias

We all know the Scottish media have an anti-Celtic agenda. Whenever anything negative about our club rears its head, the SMSM are all over it like a rash.

They love to kick our club around like a burst ball whilst the Celtic board sits back and says nothing. And whilst doing so, they will promote a pro-Sevco bias that can surprise even the most hardened Hoops fan.

And yesterday, they didn’t disappoint.

As the SFA released their report on the mistakes VAR have made this season, there are those in the media who couldn’t wait to jump on the anti-Celtic angle.

Scottish media jump on Celtic VAR report

As the report on the VAR mistakes done the rounds the Scottish media picked it up and sold it the best way they could.

Enrage the Celtic support to encourage clicks and pander to the Ibrox support to encourage clicks. And fair play to them. Their agenda worked.

Whilst they reported with pomp that the decision to award a red card to Hyunjun Yang at Tynecastle was correct, some ignored the blatantly wrong penalty call. Take a look at this:

The Scottish Sun: ‘Rangers wronged

Daily Record: ‘Rangers wronged twice

Football Scotland: Rangers red card wrong

The Scotsman: ‘Rangers victims

You getting the picture here? For weeks we have spoken about the pattern of assistance Rangers have benefitted from ever since the introduction of VAR.

No mention of the numerous Connor Goldson handball‘s that have been missed. Nothing about the penalty Aberdeen should have got in the League Cup Final and absolute silence on the penalty Rangers got at Ibrox as they struggled to beat Hibs.

The media agenda is clear as we approach the Glasgow Derby. Let’s hope another dodgy derby decision doesn’t influence the outcome of this game as a Celtic win will effectively end their title hopes.

  1. Nicholson must go at the end of the season , he does not look after the interests of Celtic. Useless at what he does.

  2. So now we need someone to oversee the dummies that run VAR, Dallas et al? We have the proof that we were cheated. Mp]oney and corruption run the game, the cheats Silva included,
and Beaton and others are cheating the paying customers. You can buy a lot of friends with £40m plus cash in hand in Govan?
