The VAR shambles of the weekend could have left a sour taste in the mouth if Ross County had taken anything from Celtic Park on Saturday.
With the handball ruling becoming more and more ridiculous with every passing game, Celtic were once again the victims of another injustice that befell the team on Saturday.
Speaking post-match, O’Riley said:
Check out the news from all the Celtic blogs across the web HERE
And those words went down a storm with the Celtic fans.
Straight talking, to the point and pulling no punches.
O’Riley was spot on. What else can he do?
All this talk of arms in an unnatural position is an absolute farce when you see defenders running about with their arms behind their backs in a, well, unnatural position.
Where do we go next? Hands down the shorts so the ref can see them and so the ball can’t make direct contact?
Let’s hope this particular VAR rule is ‘modified’ or even given a wholesale makeover as it’s really not working as it stands at the moment:
Yaaas Matt. Get them told.

Future Captain if he sticks around

Very articulate and an artist on the pitch. Won’t be holding onto this boy for long so enjoy him. He is mastering that hook round tackle another one today. Will see the very best of him again when the captain is back.
