Hilarious new betting odds as the race to replace Gio gathers pace

Ibrox Stadium

As Celtic increase their lead at the top of the table, look to strengthen their squad in the January window AND look to extend the contracts of various first team stars, the club across the other side of the city are in in disarray.

A manager under pressure, a raft of first team stars contract’s running out in the summer and a supporter base actively chasing their manager out the building,

But who can take wee Gio’s place? Who is the man that is being tipped to take over at Ibrox to revive their flailing fortunes?

Take a look at these odds as reported by the Daily Record:

Steven Gerrard is favourite at 2/1. Desperation stages now.

Michael Beale is next at 4/1 which shows a real lack of invention by the betting Rangers fans.

Then it get’s silly with Sean Dyche (8/1), Gary McAllister (10/1) which is lazy then Michael O’Neill and Kjetil Knudsen also in the running.

I hope Gerrard gets it. I hope he or Beale are both appointed because it would mean that panic has really set in at Ibrox and will also show that the Ibrox club have learned absolutely nothing over the last year or so.
