After a defeat there is always that knee jerk reaction from fans.
On Saturday, Josip Juranovic was bearing the brunt of the criticism after his own goal let Motherwell back into the match and after last night’s result, it’s now the turn of Joe Hart.
The big Englishman has been outstanding for Celtic since signing last summer.
He provides leadership, confidence and direction whenever he is on the pitch and this proved critical last season as we went on to win a league and cup double.
After a couple of mistakes this week, more notably the one from last night, podcaster, Ryan McGinlay, is now calling for Hart to be dropped and Siegrist to be given his chance.
At what point are we calling for Siegrist to get a run of games?

And, I suppose, that’s the fickle nature of fans.
Forgetting quite quickly how many times Hart saved us over the last 15 months or so is very convenient in the immediate aftermath of a game that was there for the taking.
The nature of Hart’s position means that any mistake he makes is likely to be punished with the ball in the back of the net.
Now is the time for cool heads, not calling for heads.
No be long before your shouting for barkas to get a chance to

Seriously! One mistake and he’s done?

For the weekend, hart’s been unconvincing so far this season

1 mistake the day yes it cost a goal. How many big saves did he make nothing said about that 🤔

You can’t be real… he’s made mistakes in the 2/3 games he’s not had at least 1 of his solid Cb’s! You want to take a leader out the team after less than a handful of mistakes
