The afternoon when Celtic announce Jota, Sky Sports roll out their resident Rangers ‘expert‘ to appease the fans at their clubs lack of signings so far this summer.
And the message from the all knowing Boydy? Now’s not the time to panic……but Rangers need to make signings.

‘A lot of Scottish teams won’t do business in June’
So far Celtic, Ross County, Hearts, Hibs, St Mirren, St Johnstone, Aberdeen, Dundee United, Motherwell, Kilmarnock, Livingston have all added players this transfer window. So Boyd is talking p**h.
And in the next breath he rhymes off players who have left and then said, ‘They’re going to have to get a few players in.’ So what’s it to be?
‘Rangers can’t offer their players the big money it takes for them to stay’ . Which I am assuming is because of their financial position but then he goes on to say that they have money and finances behind the club to keep their players!
It was a cringeworthy interview highlighting the embarrassing lack of knowledge Boyd has about the current affairs of the Scottish game.
And the Celtic fans loved it. But not because it was informative:
