And it seems that this summer is going to be banter free according to former Celtic defender, Mark Wilson.
Speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, he was asked if he thought Rangers would sell Morelos now that he is into the final year of his contract.
Wilson said, “I’d be very surprised if they did that.
“I mean, maybe a couple seasons ago, you would maybe thought that? He was at that time Rangers most sellable asset.
“Yes and there was that bid. (what bid?)
“But he was he was going backwards in my opinion, until van Bronckhorst came in and gave him a new lease of life.
“In European football, very impressive.
“So, I think Rangers will get that one tied up. I think Morelos looks like he’s enjoying himself at Rangers at the minute and unfortunate for him that he didn’t get to experience the final in the Europa League.
“I think he’s happy where he is. I think he’s happy with the manager. I think the manager has spoke to him said the right things.
“And I think they will get that over the line. I can see Morelos being at Rangers for a long time.”
He forgot to add ‘because no one really wants him’ at the end but what do you expect from that show?
