The madness of football is, well, just mad.
One minute you can hold a player high up in a pedestal, and the next, as soon as he wrongs the club, he is public enemy number one.
It happens at all clubs but no one, and I mean no-one, does it better than the supporters from Govan.
They really are a very bizarre lot.
And they have form for it. They done it to Gerrard, they’ve abused Ibrox legends, hell, even wee Gio was copping it in February until a decent Europa League run saved his job.
Now, it’s the turn of Aaron Ramsey.
Hailed as the best signing since Gazza by Kris Boyd, the Welsh midfielder gained cult hero status amongst the Celtic fans as his missed penalty cost the Govan club the Europa trophy.
And as he celebrated qualifying for the World Cup with a single tweet:
The *Rangers fans do what they do best and let them know exactly how they felt about him:
If only you didn’t bottle that penalty

Please don’t come back to Rangers.

It genuinely makes you wonder why anyone signs for them?
