Best signing since Gazza was one cry.
Best midfielder in Scotland was another. FFS he wasn’t even the best midfielder at Ibrox.
But what the signing of Aaron Ramsey proved was that the Scottish media, and the *Rangers fans, simply cannot wait to stick the boot into our game as long as it meant fawning over an Ibrox transfer signing.
There are better midfielders at Aberdeen and Dundee United than Ramsey. And that’s even before I get to our midfield at Paradise.
However, the player that was meant to save their season ultimately failed. He failed to bring home the title, he cost them Europe and he failed to even play 90 full minutes.
Worth every single penny in my eyes.
And as he bid goodbye to the Ibrox hordes:
It was the Hoops fans that seemed more upset that he was leaving than the Govan lot:
The pleasure has been all ours. Thank you from the bottom of my ❤️.

He’s been a bit of a laugh all round… He’ll dine out on his Derby goal for years to come. And we’ll never forget ( on a rare appearance) how the best player in Scotland lost a Euro final. 😂
