They really don’t like anyone do they? Now I know the song goes “No one likes us, we don’t care” but Jesus, the way they treat their legends really makes a mockery of that song.
Barry Ferguson was speaking on The Go Radio Football Show when he was asked if he would prefer the league title over the Europa League. Barry, being Barry, said the league title of course because, let’s face it, they desperately need the money from the Champions League.
But maybe Barry doesn’t realise that the Europa League winners go straight into the Champions League group stages?
Or maybe Barry just isn’t as deluded as some of their fanbase and he knows they haven’t a hope in hell of winning the tournament and knows the best way to save the new club is the league title to get the Champions League money.
Well his opinion didn’t go down too well with his fellow bears on Follow Follow and my God, did they just turn on him:
