I mean sometimes you need to read something or see something with your own eyes before you believe it’s real right?
Like ghosts? UFO’s? The Loch Ness Monster? Follow Follow crying about racism.
Yeah, you read that right.
The deranged twitter account posted a complaint about racism and xenophobia that their star striker Alfie has to endure during his time in Glasgow.
A completely stunning tweet sent with a lack of irony or self awareness from a fan forum that allows Celtic players to be racially abused on their site, day in, day out.
Not only the players either. Regular postings about ‘bead rattlers’, ‘taigs’, ‘fenians‘ and all other manner of names are rife on that platform so for them to be lecturing anyone about racism is simply stunning.
I have written on this blog many, many times about the gutter conversations those fans have about our club, religion and even racist abuse of their own players.
I will take no lessons in morality from them and neither will these fans:
Oh my god the old racism card He has had benefit of so many referee decisions its unreal And maybe now he is worth about £2m someone might take a punt on him Need to lose about 2stone first tbf

Glad to hear it. And you rightly point out xenophobia and racism ingrained in more than the Scottish “journalist class”. Since you have highlighted racism, I assume you’ll be requesting a review of the Ibrox songbook.
Also what about bigotry?

I’m thinking this is some sort of ironic self deprecation here?
It can’t be a serious comment about racism!— Pàdraig (@Bell_O_The_Brae) April 5, 2022
