This country will never be rid of this scourge for as long as that club remains part of us.
And I say that full well in the knowledge that there are decent *Rangers fans that walk amongst them. But even those fans that follow the Ibrox club purely for the football are shouted down and hounded if they dare speak out at the sectarian filth that emanates from the stands every week from their support.
It’s depressing.
What is also depressing is that when a sad act, clearly posting on Twitter for some attention gets the reaction he wants, and genuine ones at that, the depth of the problem becomes all too clear:
Over 1000 likes and retweets shows that the sectarian problem within that fanbase is so deep rooted, I fear it will never be eradicated.
