Refereeing in Scotland has been a major talking point for the Celtic fans this season.

Suspect decisions given in games against Hearts and Rangers reinforced a deep distrust the Celtic fans have of the SFA officials.

John Beaton has been at the centre of most of the attention after his VAR intervention cost Celtic three points at Tynecastle.

The whistler also bottled it at Ibrox when he allowed himself to be swayed by VAR in overturning a dive by Fabio Silva to a penalty which also cost Celtic a further two points in the title race.

But it seems now, with Rangers’ bottle crashing in the league, the Ibrox supporters think there is now some sort of conspiracy against their club. Look at this walloper:

It’s quite incredible that this fan base just seems to make up lies at will without a single hint of self-awareness.

They are the only club in Scotland that seems to benefit from patterns of assistance from the match-appointed officials.

It’s so obvious and regular, that they don’t even know it is happening. And when it’s pointed out to them, they just don’t want to hear it or they turn to their usual CSA patter.

League service resumes this Sunday and no doubt there will be favourable decisions that are likely to go the Ibrox club’s way as the title race reaches it’s conclusion.
