“No debate” – SPFL manager calls out the SFA official’s pattern of assistance; the Celtic fans will be delighted

“Pattern of assistance”. It was a phrase conjured up by the brilliant Alan Morrison of Celtic by Numbers when he was debating the incredible penalty anomoly that seems to follow the Ibrox club about over the past couple of seasons.

I can’t remember the last time they got a penalty against them in the league now it’s been that long but instead of talking about conspiracies, the ‘pattern of assistance‘ phrase forces the Scottish media to talk about this instead of rubbish off Celtic fans as some sort of tinfoil-hat wearing weirdos.

And now it’s being called out by Aberdeen manager, Barry Robson, after the weekend’s Viaplay Cup Final when VAR didn’t get involved in two serious Aberdeen penalty claims.

Robson said, “These are things that have gone against us. That is my frustrations with those.

“I don’t know if they were (VAR) checked. No, there is no debate over them. I need to accept them like I have had to accept them every time.” (Football Scotland)

Celtic manager, Brendan Rodgers

Even Aberdeen midfielder, Jamie McGrath, has been left dumbfounded, “I don’t know if they looked at the penalty incident as it seems they were checking for a red card during the aftermath.

“I don’t know why they didn’t look at the Duk one as for me it’s a stonewaller. He taps it in if the challenge isn’t made.”

So after three years of non-penalties it seems now that even the games managers and players are starting to question why The Rangers get away with so many favourable penalty decisions.

It’s only a matter of time now before the SFA get involved and blow the whole thing wide opem, right?

  1. A lot of fan’s don’t like VAR (Video Assit Rangers) as it’s the SFA’s corrupt official’s operating it, however it does highlight the fact that there is NO honest mistake scenario now, just 100% cheating…..
