Daily Records shameful attempt at another anti Celtic story

This ‘newspaper’ is really quite something isn’t it?

In a week where Celtic are set to wrap up a title that no one gave them a hope in hell of winning, including every single one of their reporters, instead of celebrating it, they run this dreadful anti Celtic story on the eve of what will be the biggest game of the season.

Win today, and the league is wrapped up. Our incredible goal difference means that even if we lost the last two games of the season, we will never be caught by Rangers.

And instead of talking about that, the Record runs a story about Liel Abada’s imminent transfer ‘prediction’.

Like clockwork with this rag.

They sourced an interview with Abada’s international team mate Manor Solomon, where the player was speaking highly of the Celtic players success, “He’s (Abada) been an amazing success.

“I was very happy for him when he went to Celtic.

“I thought it was the right place for him and we can see that this season. For a 20-year-old player in his debut season to make such a campaign it is amazing.

“This is just the beginning. I hope to see him on bigger stages than Celtic.”

The Record claims Solomon has ‘urged’ Abada to leave Celtic.

I read nothing of the sort here.

I read about a fellow professional praising another professional with a ‘hope’ to see him move to a bigger league.

No urging. No pushing. Nothing.

A blatant attempt to unsettle one of Celtic’s best players. We must be on the cusp of success this weekend.
