Remember Del? The guy that said Celtic have no players of craft and just a workmen like squad?
If not, let me refresh your memory:
Absolutely brilliant right?
Not one player would get in that team from Ibrox except Jota, Kyogo, Abada, Juranovic, CCV, McGregor and Rogic.
But apart from that the guy was right.
Plus a team of no winners? Comedy gold considering Rogic and McGregor are both Quadruple Treble winners, Hart is an EPL winner, Maeda won the J League and many, many more.
However, it was the ‘workman like’ comment that really sent us all over the edge wasn’t it?
I just wish we had two wingers that could beat their man, a couple of midfielders that can thread a pass and a striker that can ship a goalie in a cup final at will…………..
The Celtic fans took on board what Del said and ran with it with some brilliant renaming of the Celtic players:
