The Go Radio Football Show has quickly transcended, or morphed, into a smaller version of Clyde 1 Superscoreboard.
Over the last few days we have had the host, Paul Cooney, pass off a survey of 65 participants (including me) as the view of the entire Celtic support when discussing fan criticism of Mikey Johnstone.
It really was a brass neck to even claim that poll spoke for the Celtic fans on live radio. It was covered by Vital Celtic here.
And Cooney was at it again, but this time he didn’t have the apologists of Mark Guidi and Barry Ferguson sitting next to him.
It was John Hartson.
And my God, did Hartson not let him have it both barrels.
On the show they were discussing the Glasgow Derby ticket fiasco, when Cooney (as he often does on this subject) tried to apportion the blame to Celtic for the fan ban when we all know who really instigated it.
Hartson was having absolutely none of it. Have a listen:
Big John quite rightly tore shreds off Cooney and hopefully now, the host will try and be more balanced in his comments.
But it seems my last article on the Scottish media was bang on. They always try and pander to the Ibrox mob no matter what.
