Out of all the uses of the Scottish Parliament and their MSP’s this has to one of the most embarrassing uses of the public purse I have ever seen.
Everyone says politics and football should not mix. And I agree with them.
Especially if the politicians of the country are using their position of power to continue a lie based on a fantasy.
List MSP, Murdo Fraser, has lodged (inappropriate) a motion in the Scottish Parliament for this:
So they want to use tax payers money to celebrate a fictional birthday of a club that died because it robbed the tax payer?
You seriously could not mark their neck with a blow torch.
This guy needs to step down. But he won’t because he is pretty much guaranteed a position at Holyrood as a list MSP. There is a reason why he’s failed at every single electorate seat he has ran for.

Come on, has this idiot got a brain or maybe his memory has been wiped and rangers didn’t get liquidated costing the tax payers millions yes tax payers us having to pay for them when the money would have been better spent on the NHS. I think we should be contacting our local MP’s to through this request out
