It’s not just Celtic fans rinsing a UEFA coach on what he’s just said about Steven Gerrard, Rangers fans are too

Steven Gerrard after signing a new deal with Al Ettifaq

Now people familiar with Born Celtic will know that as well as reporting opinions from the fan media, I like to take the occasion pop at Rangers and their pundits.

No really, I do. But sometimes a classic post will pop up on social media that I simply cannot let slip past.

Like this one from John Walker on social media channel X.

People familiar with John Walker on X will know that he fancies himself as some sort of football analyst and seems to be always punting himself for a job at the Ibrox club.

To be fair to him though, some of his stuff is pretty decent and then there is other content he puts out there that is, well, not.

Clearly getting desperate for attention from Rangers, the UEFA A candidate (his words, not mine) and podcaster shared this on the social media platform:

Now clearly he is a fan of Rangers and like to post some positivity about a club that has only won three trophies since it started spending over £100m when it was born in 2012.

But even I couldn’t let this pass without comment. In fact, I can. Because not only did the Celtic fans rinse Walker for this steaming pile of nonsense, the Ranger supporters got in on the act as well.

And he even starts doubling down:

I wonder if he knows that you can delete tweets from X? Should someone tell him?
