Neil McCann rewrites what Fabio Silva did at Hampden and it will shock the Celtic fans

Former Rangers forward, Neil McCann, talking Celtic.

Ok, I know I keep going on about Fabio Silva and I promise this will be the last post on the subject about the diving wee nyaff.

But I cannot and will not allow pundits to come out with the nonsense I just heard Neil McCann did on the radio last night.

Silva is now targetted as a diver because of his antics at Ibrox and the national stadium, but it was at Hampden where the best of the worst of the Portuguese attacker came out.

And, probably not bizarrely seeing how the Rangers-minded pundits are dealing with this, Neil McCann has just rewritten what Silva did with his Hampden dive.

Silva ‘genuinely’ didn’t claim for a penalty

McCann said (The Go Radio Football Show), “I don’t understand. I’ve watched it and I’ve watched and I can fathom out what’s happened there or what he’s done.

“I don’t know if he thinks a touch is coming because if you’re a forward player, you’re putting your foot through that.

“Genuinely, I have no idea what even happened. He’s not even claiming for anything.”

Not claiming for anything? Are you sure Neil? Have a look at the video here and tell me that Silva does not throw his arms up as he rolls over to look at the referee.

It’s only when he realises that not on Hearts player is near him that he realises his mistake and covers his face with his hands.

Like Andy Halliday and Barry Ferguson, McCann simply cannot do the job he is paid to do and remain impartial when it comes to Rangers.

These pundits should be removed until they can cast an honest eye over diving because if they can’t, what chance do we have of eradicating it from our game?
