You know that Celtic are on their way back to decent form when former Rangers pundits start to moan about VAR decisions.
Especially stonewall ones. As Celtic racked up the goals last night, Rangers struggled at Kilmarnock. A penalty awarded in the first half to Derek McInnes‘ men had the Ibrox club sweating in the stands and Neil McCann fuming in the BBC studio.
I don’t know why because it was as blatant a penalty as you would ever see. Unless you are the EBT recipient that is.
McCann said, “Now, I know this is given as a penalty, he [referee Dickinson] has no hesitation there pointing at the spot.
“But I don’t think it is, his elbow is tucked in, its impact and then the arm comes away.
“I don’t know what John Lundstram is supposed to do with his elbow, it is tucked in.
“Danny Armstrong when he gets the opportunity, sticks it away.” [Sportscene]
Maybe Lundstram should keep his elbows tucked in Neil? How about that for a start? Have a watch here:
The elbow is high, he makes his body bigger and here is the kicker for wee McCann, Lundstram never even complains. Why? Because he knows it’s a stonewaller.
Tell me Celtic are coming without telling me Celtic are coming…
