The Scottish media really have outdone themselves this week with Celtic and Brendan Rodgers, haven’t they?
The Hoops gaffer was caught in the middle of a storm in a teacup after he signed off from an interview with BBC reporter, Jane Lewis, with ‘good girl’.
Strangely though, the perma-offended over at Ibrox got their knickers in a twist (no pun intended) over the comment but, rather strangely, have no issue with singing about being up to their knees or any other sectarian nonsense they spew out from the Ibrox stands every second week.
Well, some no-mark wannabe blogger from Govan was the next one to call for an apology from the Celtic boss even though Rodgers clarified that Lewis wasn’t offended and he had spoken to her personally about it.
Celtic fans back Brendan Rodgers
Whilst the fans from the Ibrox side wet themselves over this non-issue, to give any further publicity to this would be folly by the Scottish media.
That is why when this guy demanded his apology, the Celtic fans let him know exactly what they thought:
Apologise to who? He already said he had spoken with Jane on the matter..

Apologise for what? She wasn't offended. Do you want him to apologise to you specifically cause ur feelings have been hurt? Honestly the world has gone mad

So, you want someone who isn’t sorry to apologise to someone who didn’t take offence

The irony – supporters of a club which 'withdrew all co-operation' with the BBC for years, because of an issue with a reporter, now 'offended' on behalf of a reporter from the BBC (who expressly says she's not in the least bit offended). 🤣
