Fabio Silva’s antics in the Glasgow Derby draw with Celtic were nothing but embarrassing.
His dive for the penalty was exceeded by his theatrics whenever a Celtic player went near him. If anything, his teammates should have got a hold of him and told him to get a grip of himself.
But as it happened, the Portuguese man was allowed to carry on with impunity by John Beaton until it got to the point where he conned his way to a penalty.
Now I could post a lot of memes and comments here from the Celtic fans to allow for a proper description of the Ibrox winger but if I did that, I would get delisted from Google.

So instead, I’ll let Tommy Sheridan do it for me. Whatever you think of Sheridan’s politics is one thing but it cannot be denied that he is a dyed-in-the-wool Celtic fan with a much better range of vocabulary than me.
For years to come this short video will surely be attached to a straightforward tagline description – the definition of a "pathetic plonker", a prime example of the Glasgow slang for 'f-nny'… Embarrassing beyond description 🤡🤡🤡 https://t.co/vzVpPIOq8u

Silva’s Glasgow Derby antics have been slammed from all angles since Sunday and it is likely that it will continue throughout the week.
And if there is one positive to come out of this it is that at least Sunday’s game has highlighted that Fabio Silva is a diver.
Silva is less likely to get away with what he has been doing since he arrived in Scotland now which is a good thing.
Because if he was allowed to continue to cheat then he could win more penalties that Rangers don’t deserve. But then, when has that ever stopped referees before?
