“Roses are red, Rangers are dead, That is a fact, They’re a tribute act” – Celtic fans respond to Superscoreboard Valentines request. Not a mention on the show

Clyde 1 Superscoreboard claims to be a show about football opinions.

West of Scotland’s flagship radio station that claims to talk about everything to do with football completely ignored one of the biggest anniversaries in the Scottish footballing calendar.

Administration Day.

And how did they cover it? A talk about how this event almost ruined Scottish football?

How new Rangers rose through the ranks of the lower leagues?

How creditors have still been stiffed to the tune of over £25m?

Silence.

Not a peep. Not a thing mentioned on the show about the biggest story in Scottish football.

Every other news outlet and radio station covered it. Except this mob.

Maybe because one of the pundits was Alex Rae who contributed to the death of old Rangers with his EBT worth £569,000?

That would do it.

So instead they asked the punters to come up with some poems for Valentines Day to read to the panel.

Some anecdotes of love to share that took the proverbial out of the panel and guests so they could read them out live on air.

And they did just that. But not a mention of these classics:

That’s plenty.
