Main stand turnstiles at Celtic Park

As the league title race now starts to take shape, all the pressure is on Rangers as Celtic sit proudly on top of the Scottish Premiership table.

A 3-1 Celtic win over St Johnstone and a postponed game for Rangers at Dundee means that Brendan Rodgers‘ team sit at the top of the summit for the duration of the international break.

And what a sight it is. And to think, that the media agenda against Celtic had us all but written off a few short weeks ago.

But what if Celtic actually went on to win the league and claim he £60m Champions League cash at the end of this campaign?

What would happen over at Ibrox? John ‘Yogi’ Hughes has a ‘hilarious’ theory and he shared it on the latest episode of A Celtic State of Mind.

Rangers meltdown would be ‘hilarious’ if Celtic win the league

Talking about the media narrative and how the Scottish MSM seem to be against Celtic, big John laid out an Ibrox scenario that all Hoops fans would enjoy.

Hughes said (A Celtic State of Mind), “But, I mean all the usual forces that are arrayed against us, that’s no surprise at all.

“And, I mean, honestly, if we were to win this [league title] I think it would them. From the position that they are in right now, the meltdown would be cataclysmic.

“And for us, it would be euphoric and not to mention, absolutely hilarious.”

It certainly would be. I mean when you look at how easily that lot is triggered, even when they win the league they still can’t enjoy it without getting violent.

Just imagine what will happen when they lose this one after coming so close. Someone will need to protect the statues in George Square from them.
