“So you wrecked George Square over a tinpot league win?” – Outstanding replies to Sevco fans domestic dominance claims

It’s bad enough that the English Premier League fanboys call our league ‘tinpot’ or ‘farmers league’ or ‘my nan….etc etc’ but when fans from other clubs in your own domestic competition then buy into, it’s a whole different ball game.

It’s like selling your morals just to enjoy the company of those that mock you and that’s exactly what is going on here.

Taking no pride in where your roots are just to impress the rich folk wins you no points with anyone, but with *Rangers latest European exploits, that’s exactly what this fan did when trying to justify his teams pathetic domestic record:

Now I understand why fans from the EPL do this. Run down our game. But I generally just leave them to it because 90% have never even watched a Scottish game in their lives and with the reputation that league has as a tourist attraction, I’m willing to bet that that at least 50% of their stadia is filled with fans that have no real affinity with any of their top clubs.

But this guy? Downplaying any domestic success and calling our league tinpot is just a lazy way of excusing their p*ss poor domestic record since they were born.

It’s like those pro union types that prefer to speak against Scotland to stay in the UK than talk up the country’s strengths for going it alone. Soul. Sold.

One trophy in ten years. Cost them £100m.

Yeah, tinpot indeed.
