The Crawford Allan Rangers ‘coincidence’ that will really interest the Celtic fans

The news that Crawford Allan has resigned as the SFA Head of Referees will come as no great surprise.

The controversy surrounding the application of VAR has put the former SFA man under an intense amount of pressure and after the Tynecastle shambles, serious questions are now being raised about the refereeing technology.

This site told how Celtic are going to vigorously pursue Brendan Rodgers’ charge after the Celtic manager heavily criticised John Beaton and Don Robertson over their handling of the Hearts game.

And it seems now that that was the straw that broke the camels back as Allan stands down from his role.

But it has been highlighted this afternoon that there is an unusual coincidence between the date that Allan started his role with the SFA and the number of games that Rangers went without conceding a penalty.

Have a look at these stats:

Now let me be clear, this site is not suggesting any wrongdoing on Allan’s part here but the stats do suggest that whilst he has been in charge, the inconsistency of his referees applying the laws of the game is fairly damning.

And it’s a coincidence that these inconsistencies seem to have favoured the Ibrox club with a tremendous number of patterns of assistance.

Now that Allan has stepped down and a new person is likely to stand in, will these coincidences now cease? We shall see but if they do, some would suggest that it really is a bad reflection of how the referees were run under his watch. Some would, but not me.

  1. His walking away is pure deflection , they think it will throw us from the clear cheating they have been officiating over and they intend to continue with until the new club are assisted in winning the title this season, the only thing that will stop this is Brendan taking the players off the pitch next time var cheats us , I was at the game sat , every goal we score is the subject of a var deceison , the game was ruined ., 4 mins to check the last decision, the stadium knows what’s goin on here, the whole of the football world would be focussed on the SFA if the players are removed from the field of play m. Needs to be done and soon.

  2. As I’ve said many many times if the punishment for cheating is NO punishment why stop cheating… Crawford Allan punishment no one for cheating as long as it hindered Celtic or helped “the rangers”
