Brendan Rodgers, stand up and take a bow! The Celtic manager came out swinging in today’s pre-match Kilmarnock press conference as the assembled media tried to ruffle his feathers.
Normally cool, calm and collected, Rodgers was taking no prisoners when he addressed the press men and pinned them for their stupid ‘narrative’ questions.
Rodgers was asked what he thought of what people are saying about him and Celtic and the Hoops gaffer gave one reporter a steely stare.

In an unusual tact by Rodgers, it’s clear the Celtic manager has had enough of the loaded questions from the Scottish media and in true Ange Postecoglou style, he let the journos have it.
The only surprise is that it took so long for Rodgers to have a pop because, and let’s be honest, the Scottish media’s line of questioning in these press conferences is absolutely chronic.
The fans loved how Rodgers batted back the stupid questions from the media as they all praised the Hoops gaffer in the comments section of the video:
“Top interview from the Gaffer from a professional and personal perspective. Top of the table!”
“Loving Rodgers hitting back at the media narrative.”
“Brendan is too clever for the press! He was 100% correct in every answer.”
“Well done Brendan! The silverware in May will answer these questions.”
“‘I couldn’t care less’. Get them told Brendan.”
The message is clear and the line has been drawn in the sand. The Celtic manager is taking no more bulls**t and I cannot wait to see what he says next when the inevitable next daft question comes along.
