The build up to a Glasgow Derby is always fraught with big headlines and over-inflated quotes from ex-players and normally it’s with a negative slant towards Celtic.
Normally we get players linked with moves or potential clubs interested in our manager as the Scottish media serve up some Ibrox succulent lamb.
But this time it is different. This time it seems to be a plethora of meltdowns from the Ibrox club dominating cyberspace.
Rangers meltdown continues with superb Alex Rae rumour
This morning we had the brilliant Borna Barisic story where he was fighting with Rangers fans outside the stadium after beating Kilmarnock.
We’ve also had Philippe Clement acting like a child over Brendan Rodgers’ latest comments and whenever Rangers drop points.
And now, according to a rumour that has swept social media today, we now (allegedly) have Alex Rae trading punches with Olympic diver, Fabio Silva, in the Rangers dressing room.
This social media account has over 42k followers on Facebook and a few thousand on Twitter and shared this rumour on social media this morning.
We’ve also seen on X the very same rumour being floated about from this account:
Is it true? Who knows. But after what Silva did after he scored against Kilmarnock at the weekend (check the posts from today) I would leverage that there may well be a hint of truth in this. Allegedly.
