I have to say, I was extremely surprised when I saw the reaction of the Celtic fans to Greg Taylor returning to first-team training.
The club tweeted out a celebratory post on X this afternoon clearly delighted with the return of the Treble winning defender.
But in a bizarre twist, the post was met with a strange barrage of negativity.
Bernabei should keep his place tomorrow.

Don't you dare drop Bernabei

Bernabei all day for me. Tackles – Passes (sometimes) and is just a far better player. Taylor has been absolutely mince

I’m going to say it, why all the love for Bernabei? The guy has only had two decent games of football since he joined Celtic in 2022 whereas Taylor has been consistent for a number of season.
And please, don’t give he ‘He’s not good enough’ patter.
Neither is Bernabei but yet he seems to be widely accepted as the better option against Kilmarnock tomorrow.
Some fans genuinely need to get a grip of themselves. Some of the vitriol aimed at Taylor genuinely makes me despair.
He’s a treble winner who also helped Ange Postecoglou win the title back from Rangers during the Australian’s first season at the club.
For me, Taylor is ahead of Bernabei all day, every day. And look at that, I can have an opinion about Bernabei without stooping to levels some fans do with Taylor.
I hope it catches on.
