“Still awaiting a penalty kick” – The title pressure is showing on Follow Follow with latest paranoia about Rangers and referees

Ibrox Stadium

You’ve got to love these fans and their deluded ideas about referees in Scotland. You would think that by catching up to Celtic, they would be a little bit more relaxed.

They’re not and as it stands it seems that the nice chaps over at Follow Follow are still a paranoid wreck when it comes to refereeing standards in Scotland.

They have a bloody cheek considering their club benefits the most from the patterns of assistance from the men in black.

Directly after the final whistle went last night, this Rangers fan went a bit mental after Dujon Sterling saw red for a horrendous two-footed tackle last night.

The claim was this, “Rangers have committed less fouls than every other team in the league yet have the most red cards against us.

Still awaiting a penalty kick being awarded against Celtic this season. Rangers have conceded four.”

Quite the claim and I’m sure that this lovely chap done his homework. He didn’t because it took me just three minutes to obliterate his argument.

The official SPFL stats centre has all the fouls listed and there are four clubs who have all committed fewer fouls than the Ibrox club.

Celtic (231), Aberdeen (248), Dundee (223) and Hibs (222) have all committed fewer fouls than Sevco (251). [SPFL]

The only thing this guy got correct was that his team have had four red cards. All deserved as well. Not one of them is contestable.

Who would have thought that the Sevco fans would be going nuts about referees considering the amount of favours they have already had this season from them?
