“Most mental thing I’ve ever seen” – Celtic fan’s stunned reaction to Parkhead Senior Scout’s CV

Celtic’s transfer business in January was, quite rightly, derided by the Parkhead support.

The fans can clearly see that the team needs a fresh injection of talent and whilst the capture of Nicholas Kuhn and Adam Idah left them feeling less than impressed.

And whilst the criticism and concern over Celtic’s recruitment failures continue, the CV of one of Parkhead’s top scouts may lend weight as to why the club are failing the fans in the transfer market.

Craig Strachan’s Celtic CV

A Celtic fan took to LinkedIn to see exactly who the recruitment department are and how qualified they are to do the job for one of the biggest clubs in Europe. And the result was astonishing.

His LinkedIn profile verifies this here.

What are the Celtic doing? Is this where we are as a club now? Jobs for family members that are clearly not qualified to carry them out?

Things need to change at Parkhead and change quickly or our domination of Scottish football will soon be over.

  1. Hard to disagree with what you say. Recruitment at the club has been highly underwhelming and shows no sign of improvement going forward. The manager has my sympathy. He is left with a weaker squad than the one he had at the start of the season. The remainder of the season will be a big test of his character and management skills. I wish him well.
