“Raging”, “He’s fuming” – Celtic fans rinse Kris Boyd’s latest Green Brigade comments

Kris Boyd looking glum after a Rangers defeat.

You know that when Kris Boyd is raging Celtic are doing something right.

The Sky Sports presenter doesn’t hide the fact that he leans toward Rangers whenever he presents on the show. And you know what? I don’t mind that.

I like the fact that he is so keen on showing his love for his old (and I mean the OLD club) that he constantly embarrasses himself trying to look impartial on a major broadcasting channel.

But it’s not just on Sky Sports that Boyd regularly shows himself up. He also takes the opportunity to do it in his column in The Scottish Sun. And his latest serving is just brilliant.

Boyd took aim at Celtic’s decision to allow the Green Brigade back into Celtic Park for the game against Livingston today and it seems he is a tad upset about it:

Now let’s just gloss over the fact that Celtic banned the Green Brigade for safety issues and that it seems the fan group have agreed to abide by new rules set by the club.

Let’s also gloss over the fact that the club could have had them back in for huge games against Feyenoord, Hearts and Hibs over the last couple of months.

According to Boyd, they are now allowed back in because we are struggling for form. What absolute nonsense. And the Celtic fans let him know all about it:

Celtic’s next run of fixtures could make or break their season. Brendan Rodgers knows that nine points from his next three games is a must. And that includes Celtic’s game against The Rangers on the 30th of this month.

The title race is hotting up and you just know that with Boyd’s latest comments, The Rangers are in no doubt that they need to win their next run of fixtures to remain in the title race. Panic anyone?
