Sometimes as a Celtic fan you simply cannot win.
Moan about referees when you lose you are accused of blaming the officials.
Point out their mistakes when you win, you are getting told to forget about it, you won the match.
But the former is a sad indictment of the Scottish press.
Move along, nothing to see.
Journalist, Craig Cairns, tried to do exactly that when a shocking referee decision was pointed out in the final minutes of yesterday’s 6-1 rout of Hibs at Celtic Park.
It was a shocking decision by Steven McLean to pull Bernabei for a foul when it was clear the Hibs defender Mitchell simply fell as the Hoops full back ghosted past him.
But, according to Cairns, we should just move on. Forget about it. We won.
These Celtic fans were just not having it:
But rather than admit his own mistake, he doubled down. Badly:
Ok fine lets do things your way lets say the game finished 1-1 and the ref has had a shocker like yesterday he’s blown for the foul right at the end and the fans all complain we will be told ach well should of been better winning the game and then complaining is the better time

So there are times and circumstances in football when we can just ignore the rules and how they are applied? Listen to yourself man. 😆

Not sure you’ve understood the fact you’ve contradicted yourself in a single tweet. Fud. 😂
