Celtic’s recruitment has been, rightly, lauded over the last sixteen months.
Ange Postecoglou has done an outstanding job identifying players for the first team and, to be fair to them, Michael Nicholson and the board have done a brilliant job in helping the gaffer get them to Paradise.
With almost all of his signings making the grade and a material difference to our domestic and European performances, Postecoglou’s signing policy has been outstanding.
And it might just be about to get better.
A report [The Sun] was released last night claiming Celtic are set to strengthen their recruitment department with the addition of super scout, Steve Hitchen.
Hitchen brought the likes to Luis Suarez to Liverpool and Luka Modric to Tottenham.
This move signals Celtic have serious intent in the upcoming transfer window and it seems that Ange could be about to splash some of that £30m cash that the club have burning a hole in their pocket.
