I love a bit of Rangers fan pain.
Especially when it come to European results. We had to suffer the inane b*llsh*t of their fans claiming the domestic game didn’t matter because Europe was their prime focus.
‘Weer uh Yooropeein team’ was all we heard last season as the Ibrox fans heads remained firmly in the clouds.
Well this European team was brought back down to earth this week with a 7-1 humping by a second string Liverpool team.
And it was absolutely glorious.
For us at least. But for them? The pain still continues. Listen to this excellent call on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard as Wednesday night still burns the memory of the Rangers fans:
Absolutely brilliant.
Maybe one good thing will come out of that result. Maybe ‘ra peepo’ will stop crowing with this sense of entitlement that seems to have a grip of this 10 year old club.
Or maybe, just maybe, Wednesday night was the start of something much bigger and we could be watching the beginning of the end for qee Gio.
I guess we’ll find out today against Motherwell.
