I find some of the Ibrox fanbase absolutely bizarre.
For months, they talked up their own club for reaching the Europa League Final whilst simultaneously claiming they didn’t care about the league title then celebrated a Scottish Cup win as if they were crowned kings of Europe!
Bizarre behaviour and it seems it will only get worse as the season goes on. If this Rangers fan is anything to go by.
Everybody knows the Scottish League isn’t of the highest standard. Of course it’s not, but why would any fan want to call a national radio station to obliterate your own league’s standard?

Seriously though, I simply do not get these people. Anyone that decides to decry our game should stop supporting a Scottish club and just join the hordes of tourist fans in the EPL.
We have a great product.
We have just witnessed one of the best league wins in history last season and, in St Johnstone the previous season, a bit of romantic history with their two domestic cup wins which we will probably never see again.
Fair play to Hartson to kept his cool relatively well. Hartson always defends the Scottish game, as does Chris Sutton.
It’s just a pity those across the city can’t find in themselves to do so as well.
