The PFA Player of the Year nominations really have upset some people in this wee country haven’t they?
Mainly those in blue. But those in maroon? Why would they care?
Well it’s just anyone in maroon though is it?
Ewan Murray is a serial Celtic tweeter. Tweets more about our club than he does his own which tells you a lot about this journalist.
But to make his next tweet about the awards voted by other professionals because a Celtic player is involved is just bizarre.
But context is important here. Rogic has appeared 46 times this season for Celtic. Not eight. He has also scored 8 goals and created 10 assists in all competitions.
Murray has twisted the stats to suit his narrative and was rightly, called out for it by the Celtic fans:
Bizarre how sevco scotland limited changed its name to the rangers football club limited and some still call it the same club pic.twitter.com/AefjBt9Ek3

The vote came from the players. Are you saying you are better qualified to pick who has been the best player than the actual players playing week in week out?

Describing them as “six of these assist things” should negate ur point immediately! Anyway uv described Kent as terrific consistently this season who has 2gls 7asst…surely someone only managing 8 90mins with 6gls 6ssts is well above terrific and deserving of the nomination then?

I mean I’m just an amateur blogger and even I could spot the flaws in his argument here surely to God, knowing his past unfortunate tweets about our club, even Murray would know he would get rinsed for this and think twice before posting?
Apparently not.
