Yeah it’s hardly surprising. It comes as par for the course with the majority of this support.
And it is the majority. Let’s make no bones about it.
I have no doubt there are many decent Rangers fans out there. I KNOW many decent Rangers fans but let’s stop the pretence that the sectarian singing, racist abuse etc etc etc is down to a minority.
Because it isn’t.
And another perfect example of this is right here.
Popular Celtic fan Father Anthony has amassed quite the following on Twitter from Celtic fans due to his honest and outspoken love of the club.
And yesterday he spoke out about the vile abuse he receives on a daily basis from the Ibrox fans.
Yesterday he called it out and revealed one such abusive tweet from a well known Twitter troll:
I just find it stunning that they throw about child abuse so glibly.
They pretend they care about the victims getting justice when, in reality, they only care about using this crime to point score against their rival fans whilst conveniently forgetting this is an issue that affects many Scottish clubs. Including their own.
But at least there was one decent fan ready to call it out:
As a Gers fan I can only apologise for this vile messaging. Sadly too many think it is ok. Not me.

But just one. From all the replies to the tweet, just one Rangers fan called it out.
Remind me of what the majority do again?
