Kris Boyd really doesn’t know when to just be quiet does he?
I mean the guy clearly has no sense of self awareness when it comes to criticising pundits for the exact same failings he has.
The man is a circus clown, except no one finds him funny. Or entertaining.
Drafted out by Sky and The Sun to slabber about anything and anyone if ratings or hits need boosted.
Take his latest column for example.
Boyd went on some moral crusade for pundits that fail to call out wrong decisions.
“There’s also certain pundits who fail to call out blatant wrong decisions that benefit their team just to appease the masses watching on club television.
“Referees are viewed as an easy target and if we keep going at this rate they will be hounded out of the game.
“That should not be happening and it certainly doesn’t help when people in powerful positions encourage a pile on.”
Boyd regularly fails to do the right thing and call out ALL wrong decisions. Especially those for his own club.
And as for pile on? Remember the time he called on all the *Rangers support to give it tight to Leigh Griffiths?
Yeah. Moral crusade? You need morals first to do that.
The way I view Kris Boyd is thus: You know in the first rounds of the X Factor you get all these people who are not exactly the sharpest tool in the box, but everyone watches them because they laugh AT them and not with. Almost laughing at people with learning difficulties if you will. This is how I see Boyd. Everyone knows that what he has to say is nonsense, but somewhat entertaining, as it makes us laugh at his inability to realise that people are laughing AT him and not with. ITV eventually stopped showing these people, as there was a kick up about the public laughing at people with obvious learning difficulties. Who knows, maybe Sky & the Hun will eventually take Boyd off air & the rag tops, but for now, we just continue to laugh at him for the complete idiot & simpleton that he obviously is. Don’t get angry by what he has to say. Put the kettle on, comfy slippers and maybe a pipe, kick back and laugh away until your ribs can’t take anymore. He can’t hurt us…only himself…
