Craig Whyte. What a fan. Hated by the blue side of the city, lauded by the green.
But for two very different reasons.
Whyte is widely blamed for the demise of the old Rangers after he took control of the club back in May 2011 after non payment of tax forced the club into administration.
The club subsequently went into liquidation and ceased to exist.
But as news broke that criminal case, for an unrelated matter, against the former Rangers owner collapsed on the very same day that the *Rangers fan found out that they were to play second fiddle to Ange in his Homecoming Tour to Australia, yesterday was a pretty s**t day for the bears.
What I do find weird is that if the Ibrox support believe that they are still the same club, why all the hate towards Whyte? Surely he saved them?
That’s a debate for another day.
But the Celtic fans revelled in the news as they hailed their hero once more:
Our Hero! 👍😁
