VAR is something within the Scottish game that really irritates the Celtic fans.
Whilst we sit and watch how our club are punished by the refereeing technology, we are also getting fed up of seeing Rangers benefiting almost weekly from contentious decisions most other clubs simply don’t get.
There was another such decision that was made at Ibrox on Saturday that Rangers benefited from as the Ibrox club were awarded another dubious penalty.
It was an award that left Michael Stewart incensed as the BBC pundit couldn’t contain his anger on live radio.
And it’s not the first time Stewart has been left raging with referees and their opinions this season.
And he’s not going to beat pleased with Dermot Gallagher after what the former FIFA ref said about Rangers’VAR penalty at the weekend.
Dermot Gallagher agrees with Rangers’ VAR award
Gallagher said (Sky Sports Ref Watch), “When I first saw this I thought really really harsh. Then when I saw the replay when it goes to the VAR, absolutely right and what I would also say it’s also a yellow card because he does flailing arm catches him the face.
“Credit to VAR because when I first saw it I didn’t think could but when I saw the replay it was definitely a foul.”

I mean where to even start with this one. When you look at how the Hibs defender jumped, how is he supposed to retract his flailing arm when he has just been barged from behind by the Rangers player.
It’s an unbelievable decision that left the Celtic fans speechless. As Stewart says, I give up.
