Ewan Murray can’t contain himself after Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers’ SFA verdict

Celtic boss, Brendan Rodgers, finally learned is fate today after waiting almost four weeks for his SFA hearing after being charged for his post-match Hearts comments.

Rodgers was involved in a VAR controversy after branding the match officials incompetent after wrongly awarding a penalty to the Gorgie club and sending of Hyunjun Yang in the 2-0 defeat to Hearts.

Rodgers faced the beaks this afternoon and was handed a one game ban with a further one match suspended sentence.

This means that the Celtic boss will miss this weekend’s trip to Livingston but will return to the dugout for the Ibrox Glasgow Derby.

And the decision has enraged Hearts supporting journalist, Ewan Murray.

Murray is never done tweeting anti-Celtic rhetoric on X but tonight, he couldn’t contain his rage after learning about Rodgers’ SFA fate.

It was a tweet reeking of rage and the Celtic fans pounced on it. I’ll not put on here what the replies where but some choice words like being a tugger of appendages and ‘clown’ were used.

The thing about Murray is that he takes any opportunity that he can to take a pop at Celtic so it’s great to seen his tears when the SFA have done the right thing.

Interestingly, Murray was surprisingly quiet about the VAR decisions at the time so his tears here are most welcome.
