With Liel Abada reportedly close to sealing his Celtic exit, the Parkhead fans sent the winger messages on social media to debunk wild theories from Rangers fans about he’s leaving the club.
We all know that the situation back in his homeland and the Celtic fan’s support of the Palestinian cause has put Abada in an awkward position.
In fact, we told here yesterday about the horrific abuse the Israeli winger was getting on social media from, weirdly, Israeli social media accounts and not Celtic ones that forced the youngster’s hand to leave the club.
Abada just wasn’t himself and a move is perfect for him at this stage of his career.
And when the details of Abada’s potential departure was announced by Sky Sports here:
The Celtic fans wished him well in their droves:
That’s a tremendous fee 👍🍀

Good luck h-n skelper , mind he’s won more trophies and 99% of the players are the other club and he’s only been there two seasons 😂😅

So sad that he has to leave Glasgow because of a small majority of rangers fans abusing him and his religion. All the best Liel. ☘️

You get the picture. Not one bad message was sent to Abada as the Rangers fans desperately tried to peddle the lies that he was hounded out of Celtic.
And if there was any doubt about how the fans feel about the player, you just need to watch this:
