The mad Follow Follow Liel Abada thread that has created a Brendan Rodgers and Daizen Maeda lie

Statue at Ibrox

Follow Follow is a completely mental place in cyberspace but it does give the Celtic fans a right good laugh.

I mean, I should know. I follow that site on occasion to see what they are talking about and most of the time they just make up blatant lies about Celtic, our players and, hell, even their own club.

The continued liquidation denial amongst the Rangers support on that fan forum is mental enough but when Brendan Rodgers said yesterday that Liel Abada was not in the right frame of mind to play St Mirren, Follow Follow went into overdrive.

Over four pages of nonsense with hundreds of comments just prove how Celtic live rent-free in the Ibrox supports heads.

But what was even better was the Brendan Rodgers and Daizen Maeda rumour they have started as well as completely lying about the Celtic fans hating Liel Abada.

One fan said, “Of course he is not in the right from of mind. Celtic fans support Hamas, who want every Jew and their family killed.

“Who on earth would want to be involved with that?” Well, no one obviously. Especially the Celtic fans.

Another said, “Think there may be a payoff coming at the end of the season. Was genuinely surprised he didn’t move in the January window.

“It should be a huge embarrassment to them that a guy is being chased out the club due to his religion.” Except he isn’t and there won’t be a payoff happening either.

And then comes the Daizen Maeda lie, “Apparently Maeda no happy either for whatever reason.” Ok, for one, Maeda never looks happy. Even when he scores.

And ‘for whatever reason’ basically means ‘I just make sh*t up to sound important.’

As for Brendan Rodgers, apparently he wants out because he’s not happy either, “Brenda[n] doesnt look as if he wants to be there either. Something not right with him.” Care to elaborate? What exactly is wrong with the Celtic manager?

And where to even start with this one, “Antisemitism is a real problem in Scottish society, particularly amongst Celtic’s fan base which, coupled with the stance of the First Minister, is causing this cancer to grow.

“Call it out!” Got the full Sevco bingo card in that last one there. Remind me again, who is the only club in Scotland to have had stands shut twice for racism by UEFA?
