Celtic’s win over The Rangers now puts clear daylight between Brendan Rodgers’ side and the Ibrox outfit.
The Hoops are now right points clear at the top of the table and although The Rangers have two games in hand, points on the board at this stage of the season means everything.
However, even with having Annan advantage, Celtic did huff and puff towards the end of the game after Leon Balogun saw red for denying Daizen Maeda a goalscoring opportunity.
Whilst walking down the tunnel, footage appears to show the Rangers defender spitting towards the Celtic fans as they gave him a biting stick.

My first reaction in real time was that he appeared to aim spit towards the direction of the stand.
If that’s the case, then hopefully the authorities can hammer down on him.
That’s one for the governing bodies, but for now, the Celtic fans can enjoy going into the Nee Year top of the league, looking down on The Rangers.
