“Last straw”, “Time is up” – Gio under pressure as Sevco podcasters point the finger

Ibrox at Broomloan Road

From being the best thing since sliced bread to overseeing the worst European result in their 10 year history, Giovani van Bronckhorst is now realising that life as the Rangers manager is as fickle as the Oldco boards attitude to paying bills.

After the 7-1 humiliation at the hands of Liverpool in the Champions League, it didn’t take long for the knives to come out and Gio has come under fire from some of the Ibrox clubs most influential podcasters:

4 Lads Had α Dream have said, “Last night was the final straw for myself. The management team have presided over too many heavy results to survive.

“Zero trust in Ross Wilson, who trumpeted his role in their appointment & presided over this squads position.

“Time for the board to remove both before it’s too late.”

The Rangers Rabble podcast also agrees, “Who replaces Gio is not a question fans can answer, that’s up to the board but what we can say is GVB’s time is up.

“No sense of direction, style of play or even a hint of tactical nous. He has to go…… Now”

Only two points behind in the league, I can see why they want Gio to go.

I mean, why compete for a title that they so easily dismissed last year when you claim to be a European club?

And when the reality hit’s that they were just flukey as f*ck in Europe last year?

Life comes at you hard in this game!
